Hammered was founded by Piotr Rusinek and Jay Howard, authors of the #1 best seller ‘Before the Hammer Falls’ – the industry’s most in-depth book on property auctions. Between them Jay and Piotr have over 30 years auction experience and have handled over £700m in property transactions.

Jay has more than 18 years of experience dealing with all aspects of property sales and purchases. Jay is also co-author of the #1 bestseller Before the Hammer Falls: The Insider’s Guide to Property Auction Success, which is the industry’s most in-depth book on UK property auctions. As a former manager of Auction House London his deep sector expertise is regularly consulted as part of awards judging panels and industry roundtables.

Piotr Rusinek

With 10 years of experience as an established auction property trader, Piotr specialises in all aspects of sales via auction. Piotr is a highly respected auctions expert and also co-authored the book Before the Hammer Falls with Jay. In addition to managing an auction portfolio, Piotr runs the Auction Buyers Club with Jay – a private network of property professionals and high net worth investors looking to build their property portfolio.
